Aadil began his journey into the world of holistic healing long before his first breath, his mother practiced yoga with BKS Iyengar during her pregnancy.  22 years later BKS Iyengar awarded Aadil his Advanced Yoga Teacher's Certificate.  By integrating his personal insights, the work of Sri Aurobindo, and Mother of Pondicherry, India into his teaching Aadil has become recognized, and admired as one of the world's top yoga teachers.  Acclaimed the "Teacher of Teachers", Aadil is the founding director of Yoga Centers in Bellevue, Washington which is attended by teachers and students from around the world (including our own Lillah Schwartz). Aadil also teaches around the world, Japan, Mexico, Europe, Canada, and the US. Aadil holds degrees in law, physics, mathematics.  He is a certified Shiatsu and Swedish bodywork therapist and a certified Naturopath and Ayruvedic Health Science Practitioner.  Aadil has been a keynote speaker at the Body, Mind, Spirit Symposium since 1998.  He currently writes for Yoga Journal and speaks nationally for continuing education for medical doctors in alternative/complementary medicines.  For more information on Aadil visit his website.

Eric is a clear and compassionate instructor.  Studies will include an overview of the history of yoga, the Koshas or levels of existence, an introduction to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and meditation.

Using the Iyengar Method we will explore how alignment, self-awareness, kindness, non-grasping, and passion can broaden the scope of our yoga practice. Your weekend will include 5 classes in asana, pranayama, and meditation, two evening sessions with a community created Equinox ritual, organic vegetarian meals, and double occupancy rooms in a beautiful lodge at Seven Springs Center in Waynesville, NC. Enjoy the harmony of nature and a facility that provides beauty & comfort in a peaceful, rural setting. 35 minutes west of the Asheville Airport.

He is also an accomplished anatomist and research scientist, specializing in the physiology of relaxation, sleep, and biological rhythms.
